From 2016 to 2018, CHX have partnered with a number of charities and corporate businesses who want to come to the French, Swiss and Italian Alps to challenge themselves on two feet, and raise as money as is humanly possible to support their causes.

In order to help charities maximise revenue CHX aims to make them the very best charity fundraising events on the planet!  We do this by investing and ensuring that the all-inclusive experience is first-class, whether it be in terms of escapism in the mountain refuges, or staying in the best accommodation in the valley. The real value however comes from the intangible, what we simply describe as "the magic of the mountains", and it is this that makes people forge unique friendships and to want to keep coming back!

Upcoming events

September 9th to 12th 2018 – Restart Rugby Climbing Mont Buet - If you’re looking for a challenging trek up a 10,000 ft mountain (!) then why not join the 2017 Alpine Challenge in aid of Restart Rugby, the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association. You’ll be joining former England internationals Charlie Hodgson (Sale and Saracens), Lee Mears (Bath Rugby) and Ben Clarke (Bath Rugby and Worcester Warriors) as the team take on the highest trekking peak in the Mont Blanc range. You'll live in luxury in the Chamonix base camp in 5-star accommodation, but brave it for one night on the mountain experiencing the classic Alpine mountain refuge at Pierre a Berard, part way up to the summit. To register your interest and find out more, please visit restartrugby.org.uk or contact Susie Baxter at sbaxter@therpa.co.uk or on 020 3053 6680.

May 30th - June 3rd - School of Hard Knocks Mont Blanc Challenge - In May 2018, the team from Schoolf of Hard Knocks invite anyone who would like to come to join them to scale the equivalent of Mont Blanc in 3 days, by taking on 3 big trekking peaks on the Mont Blanc Massif - totalling over 4,000m of altitude.  The team will be based in luxury 5-star base chalet accommodation and venture our each day to tackle their summits, culminating in a large celebration at the end! To find out more, please contact alison@chxchallenge.com

June-October 2018.  Bring a team to take on either 100km or 170km in your own Speed Hike for Homelessness - This year we invite companies or groups of friends to come and hike either 100km through three countries over 3 days, or 170km over 6 days.  Please email alison@chxchallenge.com for more information. All proceeds from fundraising for this event go towards Streets of London, an amazing charity which channels critical funds to front line homeless services in London, where homelessness is rising at horrific rates.

September 17th to 21st 2018 - Everyone Active Three Peaks Challenge for Grenfell Tower - In September Everyone Active are raising as much money as they can for the victims and families of Grenfell Tower.  Everyone Active provided much needed shelter for families at the time of the tragedy, and simply wanted to continue to support and do more.   So staff are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge - three peaks, three countries, three days.  This takes in a total altitude gain of around 3,500m and 60km and is one of CHX's biggest challenges.  The aim is for 40 participants to raise in excess of £50,000.  For more details, please contact alison@chxchallenge.com
